The snow is gone...

...but we will always have the memories.

I think I've checked everyone in my blogroll at least 5 times today... I'm so ready to be home. Can't wait to navigate those icy streets, skate across my driveway and get inside where it's always a toasty 60 degress.
Too much staring at a computer screen.... arrrrrrrrgh... my eyes are bleeding....

Do you ever write a bunch of posts for your blog in TextEdit and then never actually post them to Blogger? Man, I can totally relate.

1. Fiona is now dubbed "The Mighty Huntress" after walking casually into the living room with a mouse tail between her teeth. Only 10 more to go!

2. An all new House is airing on a special night- Monday! at 8! Thanks to Mr. Byun and Dr. House for making my Monday truly outrageous in ways that only snarky cripples and awesome mix tapes can.

3. Sadly, the news doesn't stop happening just because it's hard to get out of my driveway. Stupid ice.

4. Return to the Blue Lagoon- Mildly entertaining when watched in Spanish.

5. Does anyone else feel slightly dirty when they say "Balzac?" Specifically when referencing giant nude memorials?

So Chris is now officially homeless for the next three months. What does that mean? That means that all last week I had a full sized mattress in my living room, two dressers crowding up my bedroom ... and NO COUCH! You see, Chris is alone without my supervision for the majority of his day. Sometimes when he gets bored, he "feels like being productive" and tends to throw thing out (like couches) before he's figured out a replacement. Yesterday I had to convince him not to throw out my CD Tower because I didn't want to step around stacks of jewel cases for the next month an a half. Combining households is fun!

You'd be proud of me, I've been working out everyday after work and Kathy Kaehler and I are quite the pair. We've only had one disagreement between us... evidently "only a couple more" in Kathy speak equals "15 more" to the average english speaker.

"Thanks for working out with me! You did great today," says Kathy.
"Thanks Kathy. The pleasure was mine, as always," says I.

I love working out to DVD's.

I've upgraded in weights and mastered the "something-something-bridge" yoga position. I freely admit to consistently skipping the push-up portion of the tape. I suffer from a severe push-up phobia which I believe stems from my experiences in 6th grade P.E. "Everyone watch Marissa," Frauline Succubus would exclaim to the class. "That's how NOT to do a push up!" Really, I just have an intense fear of falling flat on my face. Push-ups are dangerous.

Because of Kathy Kaehler's DVD of Fitness Bliss, my monthly membership to the YMCA has turned into more of a donation. Who'd a thunk that I'd prefer to stay home with my dog rather than drive all the way across town to exercise with middle aged men who ask too many questions and teenage boys who think it's fun to simulate sex acts with the exercise balls. Plus it smells.
They do, however, have cable there... well played YMCA.... well played indeed.
