Things are a little chilly over here in the country's "mid-section". Our power kicked the bucket on Sunday afternoon and, from the look of the treepocalypse on our street, it may not come back for another week. As much as I appreciate AM radio, if we don't get plugged into a power source soon, I'm going to start actually listening to Michael Savage for enjoyment.
For the duration of the power outage, Chris and I have headed south to become wandering gypsies. If you're interested in housing a couple of refugees from North Tulsa, please email me, as our parents are probably getting pretty sick of us. Power is not necessary, proper insulation is required.

Under there, somewhere, is our street.

We stopped into Home Depot around 8am to buy some windshield wiper fluid. We were hoping they would open a separate line for those of us NOT buying generators or chainsaws... no such luck.

Yikes. Aaron's aunt lives in Tulsa and got caught up in that too. (She owns Aquarian Age and Peace of Mind Bookstore on 15th St. From what we hear, they are hunkering down with a space heater.

Take good care.

Thank you! We're lucky to have so much family around who are willing to host us but we're pretty ready to be back in our own home!
